Company description:: Pontedera, Italy - May 3, 2004
Software packages created to measure web trends hardly statisfy the whole range of customers' requirements. Most of the times you need to extract custom-tailored information, as when you want to evaluate the impact of a promotional campaign focused on specific products, available only to users from a well defined geographic area.
Moreover, most of today's web sites aren't made up of simple static pages, with the classical .htm extension, which can be requested using always the same URLs. They are based on server-side technologies (such as asp and php), which create dinamyc URLs, containing a full range of parameters, different from application to application and hard to be sorted out by the common analysis technologies.
To meet these requirements, PiSoft is developing a new version of Tetigi, code name Greycell, available as a remotely hosted application. Based on a programmable engine, it will give the subscriber the capability of fully customizing his/her own data collection and his/her own statistical reports!
What skill you need to use the customizing options available in Tetigi Greycell? You should manage, at least, one of the programming language available in Microsoft.NET framework. For instance, with just a few lines of C# code, a subscriber can create, from his/her home or office, a completely new statistic, which should be compiled as a DLL component. As soon as the new component is uploaded on Tetigi Greycell, new data will be collected, if necessary, and the new report will be immediately available.
Will your new statistic be available also to the other Tetigi Greycell subscriber? No, it won't! The architecture of the product makes the new statistic available only to web sites of the subscriber who uploaded the new component.
Tetigi Greycell will be especially appreciated by software developers... But everyone will benefit from this new product. In fact, Tetigi Greycell will provide a wide range of new statistics (compared to those already available with Tetigi Professional), mostly for the analysis of the behaviour of new and returning web site visitors. Moreover, PiSoft will make available a new operational unit to develop customized data collection patterns and statistical reports on customers' request.
Tetigi Greycell will be released in the third quarter of 2004. The new product will be available in two versions. Tetigi Professional will still be marketed as an entry level solution. Existing subscribers to Tetigi Professional at release time will receive a free upgrade to the new product.
Tetigi is a product created by PiSoft, developer of applications and solutions for the Internet.
